The Miura backorder has finally cleared! Just received three boxes of the churchill maduros and two boxes of the supremo maduros (6 1/2 x 60).

Also just received more Perdomo Champagnes in churchill and toro. The Perdomo Habano Gordo (long, long backordered) have finally shipped and should be here next week.

Westbury Square has recently become an authorized reseller/retailer for magicJack (the next generation of internet/voip phone). After that, it's just $19.95 PER YEAR (yes, per YEAR...not per month). My first supply arrived today (50 magicJacks). Come by the shop and demo one! Probably one of the most interesting things about magicJack is that you can send one to friends/family overseas and they will then have a U.S. "local number". Chief Tucker (sad to see you leave Houston, Chief) is carrying one to Guam...with a 713 number on it. What makes magicJack even MORE attractive is that I'm offering a "No Questions Asked" Warranty which includes loss of the device as well as damage for whatever reason.

Notes: If you've never smoked a pipe before...consider the advantages. A starter pipe generally costs about $35-60 (I have several in the low 30s). Smoking a pipe for an hour to ninety minutes (about as long as you smoke a Churchill) runs about 30 cents. Thirty cents. Compared to smoking Churchill cigars, the pipe pretty much pays for itself after about SIX smokes (6 cigars at $6 each is $36...pipe plus a couple of ounces of tobacco is about $36). AND, I'll teach you how to properly load (pack), smoke and clean your pipe! Plus...you don't have to choose pipe OR cigar. You can have BOTH.

Gas is expected to reach $4.00 a gallon in the Houston market in the next couple of months. Whew!

Pipe tobacco over the past couple of years has ALSO gotten nearly out of hand! Nearly all of the other shops in the Houston area are $2.25 or MORE per ounce!
